Massive tragedy strikes during concert: at least 59 dead and more than 100 injured
A massive tragedy has just occurred at a night club in North Macedonia, just this morning, March 16th,
According to reports, at least 59 people have been killed with more than 100 others were injured during this horrible tragedy.

People, the incident occurred at a nightclub named "Pulse", in the town of Kovani in North Macedonia, around 3 o'clock in the morning. Prime Minister Panche Toshkovski was the one who broke the news during a conference.
According to Toshkovski, the incident was triggered by a faulty piece of pyrotechnic equipment utilized during a show, the local band was named ADN.
The injured victims were transported to a hospital across the country, in a city called Skopje, North Macedonia's capital. The reported victims suffered multiple injuries. Some of the event organaziers are among the most injured.
During a press conference, the Prime Minister disclosed:
« In a statement, the prime minister said the government was "fully mobilised and will do everything necessary to deal with the consequences and determine the causes of this tragedy".
DNK was formed in 2002 and has topped the charts over the past decade.
Local authorities declared seven days of mourning and European leaders have voiced their condolences, with Ursula Von Der Leyen, president of the European Commission, saying the bloc "stands in solidarity with the people of North Macedonia in this difficult time".
For his part, Health Minister Arben Taravari indicated that all the injured were currently being treated, without however revealing details on their current state of health.

In another development, a man linked to the incident has now been apprehended.
"Some people who were subject to appropriate proceedings have been arrested, and some of the organizers were seriously injured. We are working in coordination with the prosecutor's office and will provide more information soon. We will have to proceed step by step," Toshkovsky said.
