Well folks, it's finally here! Whispers of a Happy Gilmore sequel have been running rampant for quite some time, and the official trailer has finally been released.
For those who are unfamiliar with the Happy Gilmore film, The film follows the namesake failed ice hockey player who seeks to gather enough money to stop the foreclosure of his grandmother's house. Happy discovers a talent for golf and competes in paid tournaments, causing upset in the golf community as he gains a following for his skill and unconventional behavior.
The film was released back in 1996 and was as instant cult classic among comedy and sports enthusiasts.

The story follows a down-on-his-luck Happy Gilmore, once a golf green jacket sensation, now a forgotten janitor, gets a shot at redemption when he's coaxed into coaching a group of misfit kids for a high-stakes junior tournament.

According to People Magazine, the star-studded cast also features Ben Stiller, Benito Antonio Mart�nez Ocasio (Bad Bunny), John Daly, Sadie Sandler, Sunny Sandler, Conor Sherry, Ethan Cutkosky, Philip Fine Schneider, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Travis Kelce, Blake Clark, Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau and Paige Spiranic.
Following the release of the movie trailer, Adam Sandler made himself available to the media, highlighting his excitement for the film.
"We've got a lot of good s--- - I mean good stuff - and we just want to make sure that it all comes together and keeps it going from start to finish, and that's the goal," Sandler said of filming the movie during a Dec. 6 interview on The Dan Patrick Show. "We'll see. We're definitely nervous, but we feel some sort of confidence.»
