Well folks, Disney enthusiasts will absolutely love this one! The Little Mermaid star, Halle Bailey recently broke the internet by posting a video of her son, Halo, watching the movie. In a heartwarming moment, Halo instantly recognized her, calling out "mama" out loud.
In a world so full of hate and uncertainty, moments like this are exactly what humanity needs right now.
Halle Bailey starred in the 2023 live version of Disney's The Little Mermaid, and the movie was an international success.
While Halle Bailey has accrued a global following, she may have gained another massive fan...her beautiful 14 month old boy, Halo.
Halle Bailey's son reacts to The Little Mermaid
Just recently, Halle Bailey posted a video on X (formally known as twitter) of her son, Halo watching The Little Mermaid for the very first time.

In the above video, Halo is seen on the bed with Halle. As the movie intensifies, Halo turns his attention to the screen, immediately recognizing Halle by saying "mama".
How adorable!
"Momma!" Halo says again, causing Bailey to respond, "Yeah, that's momma. That's momma."
The moment made the mom of one emotional as she wrote in the caption, "guys i'm crying he actually knows ariel is me."
At just 14 months old, it's amazing to see Halo starting to develop facial recognition, and it's truly impressive to watch him recognize her.
Although Halle Bailey's role as Ariel came with quite a bit of controversy, I think she did a fantastic job.
It's great to see the film industry open their mind to more inclusive roles, and Halle Bailey's rendition of Ariel hit it right on the money!
It will be interesting to see Halo's reaction when the second movie comes out...
