Famous Youtube influencer Andrew Cross, AKA "Desert Drifter" has been taken off life support just weeks after being involved in a horrific car accident.

With almost 500k subscribers on his Youtube channel, his fanbase is absolutely devastated.
Back on January 31st, Andrew was involved in a two car collision while stopped at red light.
The impact of the collision was severe enough that Cross sustained significant brain damaged and was then induced into a coma.
Following the accident, Andrew was rushed to the hospital where he underwent emergency brain surgery to control the internal bleeding.
Of course, the doctors did everything they could, but his prognosis looked bad.
After almost a month in a coma, the family made the difficult decision to take him off life support.

Andrew Cross' wife delivers official statement

Following the family's impossible decision, Cross' wife delivered an offical statement to TMZ.
Here it is below:
Andrew's injuries impacted his ability to regain consciousness and after weeks of "prayer, information gathering, and discussion," his family had to make the heartbreaking decision to withdraw life support on Monday in order to honor the quality of life that he previously shared he would want.

Andrew will be remembered as a beautiful soul with an unmatched zest for life.
Soon after the accident, Andrew's wife, Evelyn, posted a video on his YouTube channel, asking his community to pray and send best wishes. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help his family pay medical expenses, raising nearly $500K.

He was 36 years old. RIP.
