16 year old TikTok star tragically passes away

Sometimes, we have to break stories that are incredibly difficult to write, and unfortunately, today is one of those days. It's with great sadness we announce the tragic passing of 16 year social media influencer Joshua Blackledge, who was found dead on March 18th.
A young kid from North Carolina, Joshua Blackledge quickly rose to social media fame, primarily by posting upbeat videos of himself doing the latest trendy dances on TikTok.
With over 1 million followers on his account, it's incredible to see just how many lives this kid touched, and his fun videos always brought a smile to his followers faces.
Although the cause of death is unknown, his passing comes as a shock as he posted a picture of himself hours before the news of his death broke.

Memory of life for Josh Blackledge
According to People, an obituary shared by Noe-Brooks funeral home, the late influencer - a junior at West Carteret High School with 1.1 million followers on TikTok - was honored with a "celebration of life" on Sunday, March 23. Hundreds of Blackledge's friends, fans and followers also flocked to the obituary site to share their condolences in comments, as they did on his most recent social media posts.
His girlfriend, who was also featured in many of his videos took to social media to vent her grief. In a statement, she highlighted just how much love he showed her, despite their young age.

"Missing this sweet boy right now. never would've thought i would have been here without you," Gillikin began. "Josh showed me what love really was even [though] im very young. he never failed to put a smile on my face no matter how mad i was at him ... Even after these past couple days nothing seems real and im feeling all the emotions."
Josh was only 16 years old -- RIP.
