Rachel Zegler, the star of the brand new Snow White movie is taking social media by storm following the abysmal reviews that have come following the March 21st release of the film.
For those who aren't familiar with Snow White, the story is about the wicked queen ordering the death of her innocent stepdaughter, but later discovers that Snow White is still alive and hiding in a cottage with seven friendly little miners.
The live reenactment of the film has stirred up controversy with Zegler's casting as Snow White, as Disney producers have prioritized a more diverse and inclusive lead for the role.
That said, the movie has completely bombed so far, posting a 1.7 rating on IMDB and just a 40% rating on rotten tomatoes.
Now, Rachel Zegler has gone public, making public statements on social media regarding the negative ratings.

Following the aggressive drop in Snow White's ratings, Zegler posted on social media, making an emotional statement.

Zegler even went as far as comparing herself to the famous "Winged Victory" portrait, claiming people still lined up to see her despite the flaws.

It's not so much the clumsy attempts to defuse the political insensitivity of the original cartoon that sinks the movie. The problems are more fundamental, starting with the fact that this is one of the ugliest things I have ever seen: it has the look of an AI-created migraine and is awash with sentiments so sappy that you rather wish the huntsman would just get over his moral scruples and put us all out of our collective misery. A film made by people with cartoon dollar signs for eyes and not even the tiniest glimmer of art in their souls.

Despite the bad reviews, Rachel Zegler still claims the movie is a masterpiece, but you'll have to decide for yourself!
