Wendy William shocks fans with her psychiatric results
Wendy Williams has been an intriguing personality to follow for the past few months. It appears that the former radio host is one step closer to freedom as she aced her psychiatric capacity test.
As per Wiki,
Wendy Williams is an American former broadcaster, media personality, and writer. From 2008 to 2021, she hosted the nationally syndicated television talk show The Wendy Williams Show.
Known as "The Queen of Radio" Williams has been an entertain presence of the radio waves for years, but her story has since taken an unfortunate turn.
Recently, Williams was diagnosed with Frontotemporal dementia (FTD), the same condition actor
Bruce Willis suffers from.
Although her diagnosis is recorded, Williams rejects it, asserting that she is in a sound state of mind.
Now, for the who are unfamiliar, a capacity test, also known as a mental capacity test, determines if a person can make a decision. It's used to assess a person's ability to understand and use information to make decisions.
According to TMZ, Williams passed the test with flying colours, scoring 10/10 on all questions, indicating a clear state of mind.
Williams was admitted to the Lennox hospital last Monday where she spent some time with a psychiatric team.
The results of the test are radically different from the assessment of the guardian, who has filed legal docs saying her condition is getting worse, not better. Wendy was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, a diagnosis she disputes. She was not examined Monday to determine if she has been misdiagnosed.
We're told the results of the capacity test will be forwarded to the judge in the guardianship case.
To ensure her well-being, Williams currently resides in a care facility, but she wishes to leave and regain her freedom.
While that decision is still a long-ways away, acing her capacity test is a step in the right direction...
