Well, Katherine Heigl is doing her part in society! Just today, the actress revealed that she went ahead and adopted 3 new rescue dogs to add to her ever-growing doggy family! Heigl is a well documented animal lover, but she couldn't resist scooping up a few more furry buddies.
Katherine Heigl has always been one of the most beloved actresses in showbiz. Known for a roles in the hit movies/shows Knocked Up, Greys Anatomy, and 27 Dresses, she's always delivered hilarious and heartfelt roles for the ages.
Katherine Heigl has always known to be a good person in her Hollywood roles, but she's actually a really good person off-screen.
In a announcement made on instagram, Heigl announced her 3 new fur babies to the world -- and their names are absolutely hilarious!

«We adopted three new babies,» the star, 46, says in the clip. «One of them is supposed to go to my mother, but, um, I don't know if she's going to be able to get her away from me.»
According to People Magazine, In the video, the three puppies play on the rug with one of Heigl's other dogs. While the actress does not reveal their breeds, their fluffy, curly coats suggest some kind of poodle mix. One of the puppies has a mix of black and white fur, while the others are almost entirely dark.
«The black and white one is a boy, we named him Liam Neeson,» Hiegl shares. «And then that little black one with the curly hair, we're thinking of Maeve Myrtle, but I'm still thinking on that one.»
As for the last «silly little black one,» her name is Clara Rose, named after the actress' mother's aunt Clara.
How wonderful!
I'm sure Liam Neeson will be quite the little rascal...
Heigl has always been known as an advocate for animals -- and she continues to give her fans more reasons to love her.
