Disturbing new details emerge regarding concert tragedy and death toll rises
A tragedy has struck at a nightclub in North Macedonia, in the village of Kocani. According sources, at roughly 2:45 am a tragic fire struck a downtown nightclub, resulting in over 155 injured and 59 confirmed deaths.
The fire happened around 2:25 in the morning during a concert hosted by a popular local group. The incident happened at a club called "Pulse" -- a popular nightclub notorious for hosting private events and raves.
As per BBC, a piece of pyrotechnic equipment failed, resulting in an aggressive fire/explosion.

Officials reported that the injured were taken to hospitals across the country -- It's important to note that North Macedonia is a small country, and the first responders did the best they could will the resources available.
The victims were transported to the capital, Skopje, where many suffered serious 1st and 3rd degree burns. Rescuers relied on several volunteer organizations, and locals in the area to provide assistance.
Health Minister Arben Taravari said that 118 people were hospitalized and that neighboring countries, including Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, and Serbia, offered assistance.
"All our capabilities were used in a maximum effort to save as many lives as possible of the young people involved in this tragedy," Mr. Taravari told reporters, appearing shaken at times by the tragedy himself.
"It's terrible (...) it's hard to believe how this happened," she said, her voice choked with emotion. "We have to give these young people the courage to continue."
According to the
BBC, In a statement, the prime minister said the government was "fully mobilised and will do everything necessary to deal with the consequences and determine the causes of this tragedy".
DNK was formed in 2002 and has topped the charts over the past decade.
Local authorities declared seven days of mourning and European leaders have voiced their condolences, with Ursula Von Der Leyen, president of the European Commission, saying the bloc "stands in solidarity with the people of North Macedonia in this difficult time".
