Sometimes, we have to report news that is absolutely devastating, and that's unfortunately the case today. It's with a heavy heart we announce the tragic passing of Richard Norton, who dies at the age of 75. No cause of death has been made to the public yet.

Now, for those who aren't familiar with Richard Norton, he's an absolutle legend in the showbiz industry.
Norton, 75, was an Australian martial artist, actor, stunt performer, stunt coordinator, security consultant, and fight choreographer.
Let's just say when it came to training celebrities in the arts of hand-to-hand combat -- Richard Norton was the best of the best. Norton trained A-list stars in martial arts including Ben Affleck, Margot Robbie, Tom Hardy and Scarlett Johansson. These are just a few names to give you an idea of the calibre of training Norton offered.
To mention a few of his personal achievements, Norton held a 5th dan black belt in Gōjū-ryū karate, a 6th dan black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, an 8th dan black belt in Chun Kuk Do, and a level 6 ranking in American kickboxing...he's definitely someone you wouldn't want to mess with.

Richard Norton dead at 75

According to TMZ, the industry legend died on Saturday in Melbourne, Australia according to his wife Judy Green. In her announcement of his death on Instagram, she wrote ... "I am numb and devastated, I have no words, I have lost my everything"
She continued ... "I know there is, and will be lots of love and shock that we have lost this incredible human being" adding she's using this time to come to terms with his death.
Robert Patrick, who was deeply involved in the 1923 series and The Equalizer movie had this to say about the fallen legend:
«In addition to his impressive career as a highly sought-after bodyguard for rock stars, he made his mark as an accomplished fight coordinator on major films,» Patrick continued. «More than that, he was a wonderful human being, and I feel fortunate to have shared the screen with him in 'Equalizer 2000.'»

Norton was 75 years old. RIP.
